But, many wondered just how many players bought in for that first week. Lucky for us, EA has just confirmed the unique players for the opening week of College Football 25. The results are staggering.

In a press release posted onEA’s website, the video game giant confirmed that College Football 25, “welcomed 5 million unique players into the game through its first week, with over 500,000 more playing via the EA Play trial.”
While many of us knew the launch of this highly-anticipated college football reboot of over a decade in the making would be huge, we’re not sure anyone knew it would be this huge. And, as a result, EA is reaping the benefits.
