Here we go again
Not to alarm you or anything, but E3 2019 starts in one week. Unofficially, it’s even sooner. Whether at home or in Los Angeles, many of us will mentally enter E3 mode this weekend. Destructoid is ready(ish)!
EA’s doing a stream on SaturdaywithStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but things truly kick off this Sunday–we’ve got Microsoft’s presser with14 different Xbox Game Studios projectsat 1:00pm, Bethesda’sDoom Eternal-and-friendsevent at 5:30pm, and Devolver Digital’ssubversive showcaseat 7:00pm.

The simple act of recapping these broadcast times has me thanking my lucky stars we agreed to fly in early to get situated for E3. It takes time to scope out your Airbnb and get cozy, you know? I can’t properly write about video games until I know the Wi-Fi is stable enough to handle multiple streams, the fridge is stocked with dumb impulse buys, and coffee is perpetually brewing for the whole fam.
That’s Sunday figured out. Next comes the marathon Monday schedule, which ranges from VR- and PC-oriented live streams to big-hitting publisher briefings likeUbisoftandSquare Enix. Finally, we’ve got a bright and early Tuesday morning with a glisteningNintendo Direct. Then it’s E3 time for real.

We havehopes and dreams for the showand you surely do too. Seeing your streams-of-consciousness spill out onto the site in real time during the E3 conferences is a highlight of a long, hectic, exciting week. If you feel like chiming into that chaos, be on the lookout for come-watch-with-us postsright before each individual streaming event starts. Just show up and be good to one another.
You can also keep tabs on all things E3 with Destructoid’sE3 2019 feed. See ya soon.
