No one is safe from being replaced by a robot in 2018 . Not even fashion models , it seems .
Dolce & Gabbana made a splatter this weekend at Milan Fashion Week with an army of drones that hovered their waydown the catwalk . The drones bear handbags , but the stunt was n’t without its share of expert difficultness .
Apparently the 600 masses in the interview had to wait for about 45 minutes before the crew behind the scenes finally got the dawdler to bring . And the audience did n’t even know what they were waiting for .

FromFashionista :
After 45 hour — and what was for certain a very grim talking - to from one Anna Wintour , who , subsequently , lost her patience for the proceedings and leapt up from her bum after 40 minutes and several announcements passed — we learned what was so important : Drones . The gates to Dolce & Gabbana ’s heaven opened up , and out flew a handful of drones add together a unexampled fashion of handbag . They quiver up towards the holy person decorating the lot before filing onto the runway .
So maybe drones wo n’t be completely replacing models just yet .

As you’re able to see from the videos , the drones had their handlers walk along the side of the catwalk to ensure they did n’t doss into any of the famousfaces in the crowd .
The gimmick may have been a number awkward , time consuming , and not at all worth it , but that seems to sum up living in “ the future ” of 2018 . Awkward , time consuming , and not at all worth it .
I guess we should just be thankful that these robots have n’t spoken with their American friend atBoston Dynamicsyet . Nobody tell them the robots over in the US are just about ready for the uprising .
