Each new season inDiablo 4requires you to start a seasonal character to experience the season-specific content. Since you have to level your new character starting at Level 1 each season, you’re going to want to do so as quickly as possible. Should you skip the campaign?
For most players, you’re going to want to skip the campaign when creating a new seasonal character inDiablo 4, especially in Season 4. The new season introduced a reworked Helltide system that is accessible from World Tier 1, which gives you a much faster and more effective method of leveling up seasonal characters as opposed to going through the whole campaign.
However, if you’ve not completed the Renown Tasks that carry over between seasons, which is to discover each area, find the Altars of Lilith, and complete side quests, it may be worthwhile to instead follow along the campaign and complete these tasks as you do so. The Renown rewards for doing these is not only very useful, but can be taken advantage of with each new season and only have to be completed once.
If you have already unlocked these Renown rewards and completed the campaign once on any character, including non-seasonal characters, than you will want to skip the campaign forDiablo 4Season 4.
How to skip the campaign inDiablo 4Season 4

Once you’ve created a character you cannot go back and choose the option to skip the campaign. If you accidentally forgot to check the option to skip the campaign, your only option is to create a newDiablo 4Season 4 seasonal character and make sure you enable the option this time around.
