How to unlock the Striker 45 SMG

A new season usually means a new weapon as well. This time, it’s the Striker 45 which first appeared in Modern Warfare. The submachine gun has a comparatively lower rate of fire but has high damage, making it a great pick for medium-sized maps.

You can unlock the weapon for free by advancing through the Battle Pass. The weapon is unlocked when you reach tier 21 in the BP. You can advance through the tiers by completing daily and seasonal missions and playing multiplayer or BR matches.

New mode and map

That’s not all. CoD Mobile’s Season 7 is also bringing a new map called Seaside and the multiplayer mode Safeguard into the game.

Seaside first appeared in Black Ops 4 and is set in Spain. The brick building architecture and open windows makes for some good sniping spots as well.

On the other hand, Safeguard mode is one of the most exciting additions to the game. The mode will be familiar to players who have played the Payload in Overwatch. Similarly, teams take turns protecting and escorting a robot to its destination.

It’s a round-based mode. The team protecting the robot must get it to its destination before the timer runs out. The other team must fire at the robot to trigger its reboot mode – slowing down its progress. If they prevent the robot from reaching the destination before the timer goes to zero, they will win the round.
