Feeling a little extra thankful this Thanksgiving

Chrissy Teigen’s Thanksgiving was a hands-on holiday!

TheCravingscookbook author posted to her Instagram Stories on Nov. 28, showing her daughterLuna, 8, removing the yolks from hard boiled eggs and chopping green beans for their Thanksgiving feast. One photo showed the final dish — a green bean casserole.

Teigen, 38, also posted a sweet photo of her youngest son, Wren, 17 months, sitting outside in the grass holding a football.

“Feeling a little extra thankful this Thanksgiving,” Teigen wrote in the post’s caption. “To our families, our amazing friends, and to all of you who support us—thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it.”

“Wishing you all a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and second helpings! 🦃,” she concluded.

In August 2023, just weeks after welcoming Wren via surrogate, Teigenopened upto PEOPLE about being a mother of four.

“For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies, even though you might have your hands on the babies a lot more,” Teigen told PEOPLE.

She continued, ““There’s a lot ofdiaper changingand feeding and it seems like you’re coddling these two little babies and they’re not getting enough. I was speaking with my therapist and I was like, ‘I’m having a hard time because I want to make sure thatMiles and Lunafeel like we still love them.’ "

Teigen and Legendmet in 2006 on the set of the music video for the singer’s single, “Stereo,” and started dating shortly after. The couple got engaged in 2011, and after Legend wrote “All of Me” about her in 2013, the pair tied the knot one month later.
