Rocket League celebrates the upcoming RLCS 2022-23 World Championship with the Champions Road Event, complete with new challenges and items!
The RLCS 2022-23 World Championship is finally here! For those who are going to attend the event in Düsseldorf, Germany, they will get to experience the whole excitement of crowning a new world champion.

That does not mean the ones watching from home are going to be left out of all the excitement. Psyonix has recently announced a new event for the fans at home to celebrate the World Championship with the whole Rocket League community. The Champions Road event has new challenges and rewards, limited-time events, contests, fan rewards, and more!

Limited Time Modes
There will be two Limited Time Modes during the Champions Road Event:
Heatseeker
Date: August 2 until August 8
Description: The game mode will be a 2v2 match where every time you hit the ball, the ball will redirect to your opponent’s goal.
Boomer Ball
Date: August 9 until August 16
Description: The 3v3 game mode is played with a bigger and faster ball together with faster and unlimited boosts.
It is time to show the world what you got with the Champions Road Clutch Plays Contest! Rocket League players can submit their best gameplay clips on Twitter or Reddit and compete for the most likes or upvotes. The final three will be judged by the Rocket League Community Team where they will vote on the winner.
The winner will get a free Rocket Pass Premium code together with an RLCS World Championship shirt. Winners will be announced on August 16.
Submission for the competition opens from August 2 until August 10. You can check out the rules for the competition overhere.
RLCS World Championship Fan rewards
As per usual, the RLCS World Championship will offer Fan Rewards for fans watching at home. The rewards will be available as Twitch drops and all you need to do is watch the official stream of the upcoming RLCS World Championship.
