Celesteela is in raids in Pokémon GO during GO Fest Global.
Celesteela will be back in Pokémon GO Raids during Pokémon GO Fest: Global.Celesteela is a region locked Pokémon, but will be avaliable worldwide during this event. This makes it a great chance for trainers in the Northern Hemisphere to grab Celesteela without using a Remote Raid Pass.
Additionally, the shiny version of Celesteela will be available in Pokémon GO having debuted back in April.
While you may not have this Shiny, be warned that Celesteela isn’t a meta relevant at all. There are several better (and easier to get) Steel-type and Flying-type Pokémon. Doing these raids will be all about adding an extra Shiny ‘mon to your Pokédex.

Best Celesteela counters in Pokémon GO:
Celesteela has a weakness to both Electric and Fire-types in Pokémon GO. It has a HUGE ten resistances, including three double resistances. That means you need an optimised team to target its weaknesses.

There are lots of strong Fire and Electric-types you may use to battle Celesteela that have been easily available in Pokémon GO. Mega Ampharos for example was available thanks to Mareep Community Day Classic in late 2023, and Manectric was available thanks to Electrike being a Pokémon in the recent Research Day.
Mega Y Charizard, and Mega X Charizard have been in Pokémon GO Raids recently. That should hopefully mean you have enough Mega Energy to Mega Evolve a Charizard to take on this Raid.
