Get ready for a showdown in Columbus, Ohio!
The Call of Duty League (CDL) heads to Columbus, Ohio, this weekend for CDL Major 4, the penultimate Major tournament before CDL Champs 2023. Sadly, this high-stakes competition will not occur in front of a live audience. Instead, all 12 CDL teams will be in the house for a grueling four-day marathon.
Stage 4 has provided some incredible moments, including the Vegas Legion qualifying for the Winners Bracket and OpTic Texas losing just two maps through the qualifiers. All storylines come to a head at Major 4, and here’s everything you need to know about the event.
CDL Major 4 schedule and format
The action kicks off Thursday with the Winners Bracket, where eight teams hope to advance closer to the CDL Major 4 Championship. Of those in the running, all eyes are on OpTic Texas following their unprecedented run through Stage 4.
Additionally, the Vegas Legion wants to complete the Cinderella story after adding Toronto Ultra castoff Standy. Vegas has looked much better in Stage 4 and will need a strong performance this weekend if they hope to makeCDL Champs 2023.
Teams are participating in a double-elimination bracket for those who qualified as Winners. The bottom four squads are in a win-or-go-home situation. Grand Finals offers a first-to-four match format.
