The California Forever projection is one tone nigher to becoming a realism . This week , the ambitious project ’s backers announced that they had received enough local support to trigger a ballot initiative . Local voters will now decide the fate of the project during the November election .
“ Today , 20,472 voter touch were submitted to the Solano County Registrar of Voters to identify the East Solano Homes , Jobs , and Clean Energy Initiative on the November ballot , ” the society enunciate , in a press releasepublished Tuesday . “ The number of signature submitted far exceeds the 13,062 valid signatures need by legal philosophy to qualify the opening . ”
Themassive project , backed by some of Silicon Valley ’s most influential billionaires , search to work up a trade name new metropolis on 1000 of landed estate of Bay Area farmland in Solano County .
