Taiga parts ways with Bleed Esports after just a month and a half and two tournaments with the SEA organization.

Bleed Esports has parted ways with Tommy “Taiga” Le as per an announcement on their socials made on Dec. 28. The announcement ends just over a month and a half run with the Southeast Asian organization which saw Taiga and Bleed compete in just two tournaments.

On their farewell post, Bleed thanked Taiga for his time on the team: “Today we bid farewell to @Taigadota  — a brief yet memorable journey. We are grateful for the time shared with Taiga, we extend our thanks and wish him the best in his next chapter!”

In his ownpostin reply to the announcement, Taiga thanked his former team: “Short but it was fun trying out a new region nonetheless. Gotta shoutout to @HadesCasts (Sean “Hades” Goh) for helping out alot during the process and felt comfortable during my stay, and wish you guys better luck forward.”

Taiga is currently signed with the ULTI Agency management company, and Taiga directed interested parties to contact his agent there.

Taiga’s short stint with Bleed Esports

On Nov. 3, esports.gg confirmed a rumor that Taiga would be playing in SEA, as per sources within the region. At this time, sources indicated that Bleed Esports was the destination, but due to the nebulous nature of contract signings, this was unreported. 12 days later, Bleed would formally announce the signing via release.

Taiga to SEA! BLEED Esports announces Taiga and Masaros to round out their roster

BLEED Esports have added Taiga and Masaros to their roster to round out a highly competitive SEA stack for 2024!

After signing Taiga on Nov. 15, Bleed were set to compete in the Southeast Asia Closed Qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. In that qualifier, which Bleed were directly invited to, the team lost in their opening matchup, falling to the lower bracket, and being eliminated by Aurora in a 2-0 defeat.

A month later, Bleed would take part in Kobolds Rave, a Tier 3 tournament in which they were directly invited to the Playoffs. The team advanced to the Upper Bracket Semifinals, before being knocked down to the Lower Bracket and eliminated by eventual finalists Team Bright. Bleed Esports ended the tournament in fourth place.

Now, following just 45 days with the team, Taiga now says farewell to the squad.
