Chances are you ’ve heard ofClever Hans , the horse who could do arithmetic . But have you heard of former twentieth century experimentation in dog telepathy ? Here ’s a snapshot of one such ridiculous experiment .

In this telepathy experimentation between human and Canis familiaris Karl Krall ( on the right field ) tried to detect the thinking radiation he assumed to flow between the two . Krall was a rich trader in diamonds who had found his very own institute for paraphysical enquiry in Munich . He had also taken care of the renowned horse Clever Hans ( who performed arithmetic in Berlin in 1904 ) after his owner Wilhelm van Osten had go . He thought Hans used telepathy and set about an elaborate research program but he was improper : the horse could read the right answers in small unwitting signaling make by humans .
