The new miHoYo title, Zenless Zone Zero, hosts an ever-expanding list of characters to play. The game initially started with 17 playable Agents and the pool has grown to 19 following Zhu Yuan and Qingyi’s release. Upcoming characters from N.E.P.S Faction set to conclude ZZZ 1.1
The New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S) faction made its debut in ZZZ with Zhu Yuan’s release in the first version of the game. Qingyi was recently released on August 14th as part of the version 1.1 update. Two more Agents will follow through in the second phase of 1.1.
The next new character in Zenless Zone Zero isJane Doe, a Physical Anomaly character who will be featured in the Exclusive Channel. Her banner, “No Match Found” will also feature the new A-Rank Electric Defense character,Seth Lowell, who comes from the same faction.Jane Doe and Seth Lowell will be released on September 7th, 2024.

Sons of Calydon characters teased
There are currently two playable Agents from the Sons of Calydon Faction - Lucy and Piper Wheel. The release trailer showed three more Sons of Calydon Agents. And recently, miHoYo gave a closer look at the two new female characters from this faction.
MiHoYo revealedCaesar KingandBurnice Whitein their recent drip marketing. It is speculated that Caesar King will be the first-phase Agent in Zenless Zone Zero 1.2. Leaks describes her as a Physical Attribute character who specializes in Defense.
Meanwhile, Burnice White will arrive in the second phase - likely alongside Lighter as an A-Rank character. Burnice is leaked to possess the Fire Attribute with a specialty in Anomaly.

Section 6 Upcoming Characters: Hoshimi Miyabi, Yanagi, and Harusama
Hoshimi Miyabiis one of the more known upcoming characters in Zenless Zone Zero. She comes from the Hollow Special Operations Section 6 (Section 6, for short) Faction and is part of a renowned martial arts family. She possesses the Ice Attribute and will likely bring Slash-type combat in Hollow Zero with touches of her martial art prowess.
Once released, she will join Soukaku in Section 6. Two more Section 6 members have also been teased in the pre-release livestream. The first is afemale Agent with pink-haired ponytail, Tsukishiro Yanagi.The other Section 6 member isAsaba Harumasa, a potential S-Rank Agent.

The pre-release livestream also previeweda new Faction with a temporary name - “Virtual Idol”. This likely comprises singers, songwriters, and overall entertainers that reflect idols and even Vtubers. The tease revealed three upcoming “Virtual Idol” Agents.
