Tekken 8’s ranking system got a major overhaul in Season 2, not only in terms of how to climb ranks but also how many ranks exist. If you’re new to the game or looking to set your next goal, here is the Tekken 8 ranks in order as well as information on how to climb and how the ranking system works.

In general, experienced players now spend less time stuck in low ranks. However, with bonus XP removed on re-promotion, you can expect more fluctuation - wins and losses will matter more in Tekken 8 Season 2. So you might want to rethink hitting that rematch button.

All Tekken 8 Ranks in order

Starting from Season 2, TEKKEN 8 has eight tiers for the God of Destruction rank. Here you may find all 37 ranks in order. In Ranked Play you only lose Points after climbing to Red Rank (Garyu or higher).

Tekken 8 Rank colors and belts in order

TEKKEN 8 has 37 ranks. They are divided into 10 color groups know as belts. In Season 1, the most populated rank was Fujin, Rank 22 and the first Blue belt. In Season 2 the average rank is currently lower due to the reset. However, it’s expected that high purple will be the new average given the changes to the way you gain XP in Ranked Mode in Tekken 8 Season 2.

Experience Points (XP) in the Ranked Mode

In a nutshell, every time you win a Ranked match, the game rewards you with XP. At specific milestones (numbers of XP), you get promoted to the next rank.

Do not confuse the Ranked Matches XP withFight Money, a currency to purchase some cosmetics. You earn it regardless of your match results.

In online Ranked and Casual matchmaking, you can specify what opponents you prefer to play against: the same rank or stronger.

TEKKEN 8 has many characters in the roster, and it’s natural not to master them all on the same level. Therefore, the game has individual ranks for each fighter.
