Lightsabers and blasters are two key weapons in Fortnite’s Galactic Battle season!
Although Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 doesn’t launch until Friday, May 2, Epic Games has unveiled a blog post detailing precisely what players can expect. The information includes Battle Pass skins, map locations, and most importantly, the weapons that will be available in the loot pool.
While lightsabers are a prominent fixture in a season revolved around Star Wars, Epic Games has outlined a few other interesting weapons. This article outlines all weapons and items that will appear in Season 3.
All weapons and items set to appear in Fortnite’s Star Wars season
Lightsabers and blasters will encompass much of the Fortnite x Star Wars season’s loot pool. From the outset, players will have the option to visit Rey Skywalker andEmperor Palpatineto “train” and earn their respective lightsabers.
Darth Vader Samurai will also be a boss character when the season launches on May 2, whom you may defeat to acquire his lightsaber. Apart from the lightsabers, Epic Games will provide ten Star Wars blasters for players.
Three of these blasters have appeared in previous seasons, while the others are new to Fortnite, including Captain Phasma’s Mythic F-11D Blaster. You can acquire this version by defeating the Captain Phasma boss at the First Order Base.
Weapons and items available at launch
When the firstChapter 6 Season 3update arrives on May 8, more weapons will enter the Fortnite loot pool, including Mace Windu and Darth Maul’s lightsabers. More and more Star Wars-themed items will follow suit with each weekly update.

How about the Force Abilities?
While not traditional weapons,Epic Gameshas also included Force Abilities in Season 3. You can earn these the same way you acquire lightsabers. You must visit one of the many Jedi or Sith holograms around the Island.
For example, visiting and training with Rey Skywalker gives you the blue lightsaber and a Force Push ability. The same idea applies to the many force-sensitive characters that will spawn in throughout the season.

Our first impressions of the all-Star Wars loot pool
Without having even played the season, Chapter 6 Season 3 sounds chaotic. We have lightsabers, blasters, force abilities, TIE fighters, X-wings, and more. It’s unclear what other weapons will be available this season, but this should make for a fun and potentially infuriating experience.
It’s not the first time lightsabers or blasters have appeared in a season. In fact, it’s happened quite a few times before. We are cautiously optimistic, as this seems like a necessary overhaul, given the theme of Season 3.
Either way, we will reserve full judgment regarding the weapons and other features until Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3: Galactic Battle drops on May 2.
