Big names are involved.

Wondering about all the Marathon voice actors you heard in its excellent cinematic short? We have you covered! Marathon won’t be a traditional cinematic experience like Halo and Destiny. Instead, its story will unfold via community events, missions, collectibles, and more.

However, that doesn’t mean it won’t feature any dialogues or character interactions at all. Allsix runnerswill have unique identities, personalities, and voices, making them vastly different from your homebrew Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks.

Marathon

We don’t know the extent of their involvement in fleshing out Marathon’s narrative, especially during gameplay. However, the Runners’ portrayal in the cinematic short was surprisingly good, primarily because it featured some of the most prolific voice actors from the industry.

If you’re a veteran Bungie fan, this shouldn’t be surprising, as past Bungie games have had a great cast of characters brought vividly to life through exceptional performance from its voice actors. This upcoming extraction shooter looks to be no different. You may even recognize some of the voices in the short movie, like the legendary Ben Starr as the narrator.

Every Marathon voice actor confirmed

Below you may find all the Marathon voice actors we know of so far:

Arguably, Marathon’s most notable casting so far is Elias Toufexis as the cybernetic stealth ninja Void. Why is this so exciting? It’s because Elias is known for portraying another cybernetic ninja, Adam Jensen, in the Deus Ex franchise.

We don’t know when Eidos Montreal will work on another Deus Ex game, so it’s nice to hear Elias take on the role of a relatively similar video game character.

It’s worth adding that Toufexis is also the voice director of Marathon. We don’t know what that role implies, but he seems to be quite involved in the acting and performance side of the game’s development.

Everyone’s favorite Destiny grandma, Eva Levanta, is ditching busywork in Destiny 2 to be a Runner in Marathon. Nika Futterman plays the recon specialist BlackBird. Futterman also voices Hela in Marvel Rivals, so we have high hopes for her performance as BlackBird.

Glitch, the most Cyberpunk-esque Runner in Marathon, is voiced by Erika Lindbeck, who you may recall as Futaba Sakura in Persona 5. Glitch can disorient enemies and use her support abilities to help her team members. She has a strong presence in Marathon’s cinematic short, and we are excited to learn and hear more from her.

That’s all the Marathon voice actors we know about so far. As mentioned above, we don’t know how many dialogues they have in the game or how much they contribute to the overarching narrative. However, we do know they will spew out various commands during battles, similar to characters in most hero-shooters.
