Boston
I moved to Boston at the root of the year and have n’t really taken my photographic camera out much to fritter since then . I always see the shot challenge but have never convey the time to get in one . I just commence working in a shared office space on the 14th floor properly across from Logan airport and thought that would be a big place to take a cyclorama from . I used this as my excuse to get to work early and get a picture right as the sun was coming up . Unfortunately , it was a signally boring sunrise , but the pre - dawn colors were rattling . 5 paradigm , ~40 % overlap , Canon 1Ds Mark II , 40/2.8 @ ƒ/8 , ISO 200 , 30″.

Downtown Pittsburgh
Having never dissipate a prospect before on my DSLR , I opted to cleave with a definitive panorama of something I ’ve want to shoot for a tenacious time , a night - time cityscape of Downtown Pittsburgh from Mount Washington . So this challenge was timed absolutely for what I ’ve been want to photograph in my own spare time anyways . I ’ll always count the view of Pittsburgh from Mount Washington one of my favorite views in all of the US . in the first place that 24-hour interval , I had done mental testing panoramas on my iPhone 5 at three separate locations on Grandview Street before settle which view I favour best . Once I decided on the panorama view I want , I waitress until after 11PM that eve when I was done with my day and test a few shots to lock down the configurations for the last composition . After that , it was just the mere matter of support around in the cold while I re - film the cyclorama several time to ensure I commence everything I needed . The stroke for the panorama were rise in Lightroom and then imported and merged in Photoshop .

Simon Kenton Bridge

This panoramic photo was take from the Simon Kenton Bridge between Maysville , KY ( left ) and Aberdeen , Buckeye State ( right ) . It was taken with my Canon T3 and stitched together with Windows Photo Gallery . alas , this time of year is very grey-headed and brown , so I break down with a black and livid photo . There is quite a lot of history here , as this part of the Ohio River was very dynamic in the Underground Railroad and bourbon statistical distribution .

Breckenridge

I was already on a ski trip when I see this competition ( so I did not have my gear mechanism or much time to go shooting ) . What I did have , was a fantastic horizon . This is a shot of the Rockies from Peak 10 in Breckenridge , Colorado . Stitched from 5 shots taken on a Canon S110 .

Not Very Linear Horizon

When I got back to work last Friday , I see this rather dramatic flock , which I thought would make a decent prospect . I did not need to miss the moment so I went for the easy choice : the progress - in panorama mode of my NEX-3N. I think it turned out ok , if you discount the not very linear horizon , though I mean in this instance the problem was actually at the other terminal of the television camera …

This pano was involve with a Nikon d3000 DSLR camera , aperture f/3.5 , shutter varied slenderly depend on where I was pointing the camera . pack without a tripod , just tried to hold the axis vertebra firm around the aperture as I rotated the television camera allow for to rightfield . Stitched together with photoshop . Post processed with photoshop as well as Photmatix to give it a petty more HDR like tonic .. Under The Swiss Alps
The Swiss Alps were nicely seeable during the day , but too far off for a 180 ° view . So in the evening , vote out , on my way home I walked through this subway . I was already a few steps away when I pull in that it would actually make a nice scene , even though there was whether landscape painting nor skyscrapers . The graffiti say : “ Do n’t Dream it , do it ! ” and “ Lebe Liebe Lache ” or in English : “ resilient Love Laugh ” fill with my trusty Canon 6D and a Sigma 17 - 35 mm 2.8 - 4 . The 360 ° is stitched together from 6 images each landscape painting at 17mm,1/30s , f/4 , and ISO 12800 with Microsoft ICE .

Into Night
I ’ve been actually doing a few panoramas recently , so when I saw this shot challenge I jumped on it . Had a great time out shooting last nighttime . This is 5 images sew together together in Photoshop . Slight Contrast boost and a tad bit of NR . shoot with a Canon t3i f/ 3.5 iso 800 30 sec . pic . I love the manner this turned out . The colors in townsfolk gave off an orangish coloring material making it look like a sundown with stars . Kind of confounding , but it made out for a dandy photo .

The Witch ’s House
I am altogether obsessed with that household , The Spadena House and also screw as The Witch ’s House . I evanesce by that area almost everyday because is on my path to work , and at least 10 meter a yr I photograph it in unlike unaccented consideration . The house attend like a spot from a fairytale storey . I been photographing that family for a tenacious time now . I was already yelled at once by the proprietor and other time he spoke to me and treated me really nice ( go figure ) . The landscape design once hold back me and questioned what I was going to do with the photo … . I explain that I really do it the computer architecture and the whole vibe on that house … It turn out she knew my genus Bos and she asked me to do the landscape photograph . After some email interchange with the landscape gardener lady , she say the owner did not allowed her to take someone to take the photos , I just cerebrate , “ what a beldame , I think of what a bitch , I have in mind the guy is a beldam with bitch mode ! ”
