The Fortnite Comp Awards honor the best players and moments of the year. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming show!
Established in 2020 by Fortnite caster and analyst Taylor “Somebodysgun” Yates, the Fortnite Comp Awards feature a panel of over 50 Fortnite community members consisting of players, journalists, managers, casters, analysts, streamers, and more. The carefully chosen panelists nominate individuals for 29 different awards. Then, the community can cast their votes when the final nominee determinations have been made.
The year 2022 has been outstanding for competitive Fortnite, and what better way to ring in the new year than by honoring the best players and moments?
2022 Fortnite Comp Awards: Categories and nominations
The Fortnite Comp Awards panelists have gotten to work as they carefully narrowed down the final nominees across 16 different categories, recognizing the top players, caster, coach, and manager. Once the final nominations are determined, the community will have a chance to cast a vote.
The voting period opens to the public on December 19 for Twitter users. There are two sections of the 2022 Fortnite Comp Awards; competitive and community. The panelists will account for 75% of the competitive voting, while the community will account for 100% of the community section.
